Police arrest drunken driver after intense pursuit that reaches six mph on stolen scooter

GasBuddy Blog -- A drunk man in Indianapolis, Indiana recently decided to steal a vehicle from Walmart and fly down city streets- at six miles per hour- from the electric scooter he stole, according to WTHR.

Marcus Degraphenreed was arrested yesterday morning after police found him riding around on a stolen electric scooter, meant for disabled Walmart customers, at 4am in an Indianapolis suburb.

Perhaps the most amazing aspect of this goofy story is that Marcus paraded around city streets in balmy weather- featuring an air temperature of 18 degrees, with a windchill making it feel like just ten degrees.

Drunken idiots use that for an excuse, guy driving down the road swerving all over on his riding lawn mower, cops finally stop the idiot & he told them he was headed to the liquor store to restock, claimed he didn't realize it was illegal. Wrong, ticket issued.. I certainly don't want these fools swerving into me, or make me swerve from hitting them..... I see this is old but it got bumped up somehow.

But he could be taken in on larceny of the scooter, disorderly person, and breach of the peace.
